I really do'nt know what the war was happened in here, b'coz i am a newbie. But I think that you are cannot compare the XDA II and P900. because XDA II was made actually as a PDA that have another function as a phone. but P900 was made by SonyEricsson as a Phone Company as a Phone with have other functions as a PDA, digital camera and video capture. So it's still have one thing better than XDA is the keypad, wich is still can write an sms without using two hands.

Yes, of course. They are different, but not that much.
And welcome to esato.

@kitong_vai, or if you thought aabout it, you could put the XDA on a flat surface & use just one hand, but i agree with your general point, only problem is, i used my p800 for ages WITHOUT the keypad attatched so .....the jogdial is the best part for me. which you don't get on the XDA.
XDA does not have speakerphone option i think either.

Yes it has a speakerphone. Press and hold answer key to enable & disable when you receive a call. It is very clear & loud on max volume setting.
Without keypad on P800 the screen keypad is easier to press on the XDA as the keys are bigger. No one-handed sms/t9 type entry though.
First real assessment of battery life:
Hammered it a bit today from 7am-4pm using every feature (music, video, pictures,PDA, internet, bluetooth, voice calls etc) and battery still at 56%.

It is very big but I also own a 9210i, for my sins. Before anyone starts, everyone has made some bad buys, OK, maybe not as big as me.
So the size is not such an issue.
And it has a button in the middle (Look on the first page for photo), that works in the same way a jog dial works....
@PSIKEY
Where did you unlock yours from.?
Because if I want to use it with my T-Mobile sim.

Just phoned O2 who charged me £15. Seams it is done over the air and can take upto 1 week. Not unlocked as such yet. Did you buy one?
Now that I have started to read manual

I have discovered you can dial from your contacts list directly with one hand.
Press the contacts button then use 5 way button up&down to move to each contact or left&right to move a page at a time then highlight number and press green call button twice. So XDA has all basic one handed phone options of original P800.

I have got one for 14 days to decide, like yourself.
By then the P900 should have been released and then I can compare the 2.
I called O2 who told me that they can not unlock the phone unless I pay the 12 months upfront. Which I don't want to do.
This illustrates again, that phone companies in general don't seem to have a clear set of rules. If you speak to one person, you get one answer and then speak to another you get, another answer.
Back to the XDA2, Shit this thing does everything. I hope the p900 is hot as my head says XDA but my heart says P900, P900, P900

Already decided to keep the XDA2. The P800's up for sale (can't justify keeping both).
Still having to keep the O2 contract obviously.
The line I used with O2 was that I needed to be able to also put my work SIM card in it. Didn't mention any problems but suppose time will tell.
Already have my 512MB SD card on order
Will revisit SE P series with next model (my heart still says Symbian OS, but it needs to improve a fair bit first. Needs more processor power & memory to compete with XDA2 regarding PDA/multimedia/games use).
Would be interested to hear what you think of it when you have had chance to play.
