@ jojo: we tend to celebrate Christmas whenever we get up. so for people with kids that's about four in the morning
many people go to midnight mass on Christmas Eve (services usually start around 23:30). it's also a tradition in Australia to have "Carols by Candlelight" on Christmas Eve - either watching the national broadcast from Melbourne, or attending a local one. That usually starts around 21:00.
however this year my celebrations will be rather low key due to my mother passing away last August. i will probably just go to midnight mass with my father and have lunch on Christmas Day.

@gelfen - my deepest sympathy and my condolences too for the very untimely demise of your mom - rest assured that her soul is with Jesus now. Life must go on @gelfen and must celebrate it to the fullest, 'cause it only happens once a year. I think that your Dad is still with you right?, might as well pour in all the love that you can give him this Christmas. 'Cause I am very sure that he'll be lonely 'cause this will be the very first Christmas that he'll celebrate it w/out your Mom - or his better half.
As we continue the countdown - - - - there are already 8 (for the 24th midnight celebration)/9 (for the 25th day itself celebration) days before the GREAT DAY !!! Gifts mooooooooooooooooooooore gifts ! @Laffen - give out now the best gift you can give in the 'Playtime' section, make it more suspenseful next time, how about for the 500th or 1000 poster ??? nyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhh !
