I was on my way home from town one night, as usual i was drunk and had been breaking things. Anyhoo i was vacating the scene of an incident so i was looking for the quickest route across a small but deep river which i have to cross to get home. Usually i use the bridge but this was a special occasion so i decided to take a run and jump. Being completely binned must have affected my judgment tho cos i only made it about 3 quarters of the way and landed in the drink up to my neck. My p800 was in my jeans pocket and got a proper soaking but somehow survived unscathed. However my shoes have made a squishy sound ever since.

If a phone can't: handle being dropped from 2 metres onto a hard surface (several times), dropped in the toilet.....and be flushed, resist 40+ degrees centigrade heat, then I am not interested in owning it. I have done this to my p800 and it was fine. At the end of the day it is only a phone and should it clap out then that is what home and contents insurance is for. Oh – I have upgraded to a p900 and have yet to put it through this exhaustive testing……but its time will come…..oh yes.... you can be sure of that….ahahaha aha aaha (very evil laughter that sort of goes on a touch too long.)

i'm always dropping mine and its fine. luckily it always lands sunnyside up so the screen remains unscratched. i cant understand these people who put protective covers and bulky cases on their phones (unless they are builders or work outside) as im always dropping phones and they survive. usually its the same sort of people who own really dated pay-as-you-go phones always switched off and used onc in a blue moon. ironic really

I stotted mine off the road once and it was fine, minus a few grams of casing, boohoo. Should have put my case on.

The carringcase is no use. It only protect the phone from tiny scratches. The clip isn't any good. I hade my phone in my case, and both went in the floor. My screen is totally destroyed. Everything works... even the touchscreen. But its a little annoying with those cracks.
