I totally agree with anish! I think United States of Europe can be a good ansver for the position of the USA! I think all the member states must have there own identity, language, etc. But with a single currency (like the EURO) and with a big market without borders and limitations would be great! I am waiting for the day when I can pay with € in Hungary (of corse I can pay with it today, but its not the same)! With the € we can feel, that we are really one part of Europe!

Ppl, which countries join to EU next month. I just know Czech rep., Poland,Slovak rep.,Hungary and Slovenia.Who is next and how many members (states) will be in EU from 1.may?

Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovak Republic, and Slovenia will be joining on 1st of May, after that EU will consist of 25 member countries.

each country should be controlled by it's own government without the involvment of some people in Brussel. Ok, it can be good in some political question like military defense, trade agreements, but EU has gotten to much control over the individual contries and their own government.
it's not for nothing that the swedish people voted against EMU and euro last year
