Hi. Regarding the bug in R2L - Pocket PCs can no longer connect to the internet via bluetooth. I had my K700 upgraded today at CPW in Guildford. All OK except I can't connect to GPRS on Orange from my iPaq 4150 using Bluetooth. My laptop seems to work fine. The solution (which seems to work so far) is to add an extra AT command string - 'Z' in the 'Extra dial-string modem commands' dialog on the Pocket PC. ATZ should reset the internal modem to it's default configuration, I assume similar to power cycling the unit. Just type 'z' or 'Z' into the dialogue, not the 'AT' part as the iPaq assumes this and will always prefix any extra strings with 'AT' before sending them to the phone. Would be interested to find out if this works for other users. Good luck.

It's not a bug in R2L, it's abug in PocketPC 2002. Pocket PC 2002 can not handle the number of profiles available in the K700. The only solution is upgrading to PocketPC2003.

Sorry I should have clarified, I am running Pocket PC 2003, just upgraded to iPaq 4150 Firmware 1.10. It probably is a bug in the Pocket PC software, however the solution is still valid (at least on my setup).

I may have found a new bug in R2L. I am on the UK Orange network and have subscribed to their Line2 service. Before the upgrade to R2L I could edit the line tags, I chose the highly original 'Personal' and 'Work'. Since the upgrade I can only edit the Line 1 tag. The line 2 tag is set to 'Line 2'. When I try to edit it, I get a ding noise similar to the one you get when typing an SMS and you go past the 160 character limit. In the top right hand corner of the editing window there is a '0' displayed, indicating, I assume no characters available. Does anyone else have a similar problem or a work around. Thanks.

hello everybody!
Pleeeeease help me!
I bought my k700i from dubai
I went to my SE service center(I live in Romania/Bucharest) to flash my phone with R2L001(I had R2A041)
The guy over there looked at my phone's service info and he saw that at customization it was written CDA xxxxxxxx/13. He explained to me that '/13' means that the phone was locked to a network(code 13 ) probably in Dubai, and it was unlocked there until I bought it(to be network free it should be '/1')
He also said that it might be very possible if he puts in the R2L001 the phone might lock again to that 'code 13' network in Dubai, and there is no way hecan unlock the phone because there is no software to do that! The only way to unlock it is to go back in Dubai(impossible)to contact there that network.
Did you encountered the same problems when you've upgraded your FW? If so, how did you solve it?
Pleeeeaaaassssseeeee heeeeeeeeeelp meeeee !
Anyone?

Thanks googol!
The workaround fix the problem. Now my ipaq 2210 (ppc2003) can connect to internet via k700i (R2L) bluetooth smoothly after jusy key in a "Z" to the field of 'Extra dial-string modem commands'.
