does it have a "normal" plug for earphones like p9** and p8** or do you plug them in the normal connectors like in *700 ?
i mean it's pro compatible and you can get 512mb very cheap while 1 gb is due to be out next month

th eonly sad thing is vodafone.... vodafone doesn't offer umts here because mobitel has way too much coverage and they wouldn't be competitive against mobitel umts so i can't even use the 3g if it's locked to vodafone.... except edge but i don't think it has that right?

edit: oh and i haven't seen any news about the screen res i guess it's 240*320.... but does anyone know for sure ?
and i think we will see an unbranded version at the next se press conference along with other models, i don't actually expect it to be out at the same time as the voda version (especially when z1010 is only a month old at least here )
but i guess februar isn't a bad guess.....

edit: it's only 176*220.....

mmsman; It does not have a normal earphone connector, You have to use SE's connector.

Another 'flip-type' from SE . . . Maybe it's just an 'improved' SE Z600 at that? . . .

I think you need to view it as an improved Z1010. It's really a whole different league from Z600 in features imho.

I think that might be a bit too big

You need to remember that the S700 screen is 240*320 and not at horrible resolution. I think this one is smaller, obviously in physical size but most likely also in pixel size.

Vlammetje - Oh yeah . . . and I just totally forgot 'bout the Z1010 as a flip-type as well? Yup, an improved version of that I suppose too . . .

yeah but i didn't saw anything in the press release and some sites like mobileburn said it's probably 240*320 and btw s700 has a 2.3 inch screen and this is 2.2 inches so i guess it's quite possible considering that sharp makes smaller screens with that resolution...
actually i was kinda suprised to see it's not qvga.....
but 176*220 isn't bad at all
