Or for the P800 to actually come out

I just emailed the Swedish mobile magazine Mobil and informed them about P800 getting a MemoryStick slot. They will publish the news as soon as they get around all the other news today (SE, Nokia and Siemens all presenting new handsets today)

YoMan: Yeah! Same here!! When will the exact release-date show up? Then we can all make a P800 calendar and check a box or something as days pass by

Where does it say that you are able to turn the radio transmitter off? Can't find it anywhere...

Look under
Connectivity and then Bluetooth..
There you can find the following text: Special radio-off mode, so you can still use your P800 PIM functions on a plane

Do you think that applies for the GSM frequencies as well?

In P800 whitepaper from april there was radio free mode (P800 works like PDA only) also mentioned.

Of course. It means all kinds of wireless connections, I guess. Since none is allowed on an airplane, no matter if it's radio, Bluetooth, GSM, GPRS or HSCSD.
This is a good function for those that just want to access the PDA part of the phone on a plane. Great! :se Rules!
