tiz kind of phones are really for people, like my dad who juz wants to be able to call/receive/send calls&sms, and a bit of simple design... I muz say its aint my kind of thing... but its all gd... however they cud hv implemented a camera... atleast a low quality ones... coz people now days they juz see a camera phone they wud buy it...

I think the whole idea behind them is to NOT have a camera. And remember, the world is in fact
full of people who want a phone, with SMS and nothing else. A acmera on these two wold drive the price up and basically make it less appealing to the market it is intended at.
I don't know why ppl fail to see what 'low end phone' really means and for which users it is intended.
I think it's great
is expanding it's range

the t290 isnt so great except for body color. the 230 has 1,1mb memory. and it deperately needs ir. speaker phone is nothing great imo.

J200 oh boy. this phone is probably made by ARIMA (T100/T105/Z200) thats why it has no MMS. this is the most ugly phone SE has ever build. it looks alot like a SIEMENS phone. will it sell? some shopkeepers already mailed me to know more about it. so i think it will sell. since all new siemens phones have got problems. this model could take over abit of siemens low end sales. so thats good. but i still hate the design and the lack of MMS is just plain stupid.
i'll probably get the T290 when its 100euro, a good phone for my mum.

EDIT: Mobil.se, a swedish mobile site, has only reported the t290 as being unveiled, adding more uncertainty to the availability of the J200 in europe

...and for the records, Z200 and J200 runs on the very same hardware...

I see ppl with cameraphones but never hear of someone actually sending pictures through mms.
