Some examples... Nokia 6800 and all models in this line come from Motorola developers team, they were hired by Nokia and use old design from Moto

V3 is internal development.

We arent talking about design, mostly intelligence connected with set of features, launch dates, functionality, new technologies. If you receiving info that SE planing to launch model with 128[128 screen, 12 Mb of memory, covers, IrDA etc then you mostly change set of features for you own model. Remember what pool of memory was anounced firstly for C65? Interesting that the same SE model by that time was with 3 Mb internal memory, but they changed pool to 12 Mb (and at the same time Siemens changed it too). Strange, isnt it? Officialy they not working toghether on that models, just trying to build the same models for the same target groups...

Very interesting info Eldar!

Ofcourse we all know about the famous Maximilian Schunke, Sony Ericsson's chief legal advisor and his methods...

What surprises me is that if Nokia announced the 6230 in October 2003 then SE must have known about its features in the summer of 2003, yet they still did not add memory card slot for the k700 which was presented in March 2004 almost 9 months later!!
So much for business inteligence from SE's part...

For SE the main problem is plants, they couldnt produce enough handsets, Nokia hasnt such problem. From this point of view they postponed Clara, actually it could be on market in this September

But its even photoshopped badly look at the first phone

on its left side, u cant see where the white is supposed to be, because aaccording to the base (white) it should continue upwards which it doesnt

SE just took more controle over the ericsson plant in china, now its named the SE plant...
they also invested in a new plant in brazile for the T230 and previus models, so thats going to be the T290 ( a low end phone to boost the sales number and stabelize the marketshare).
Arima the Taiwanees company that makes the T100/T105/Z200 and variants is also working for them.
Z200 still in production. the J200 is also made by Arima and will be on the markets soon (Asia first). later on will see the K300. according to rumours Arima will produce 2mil to 2.5mil of those a Q.
and i'm sure there working on a Z200 succesor.

so we'll see increase in the quantity of phones made by SE.
however it looks like they are going to boost the quantity of low end phones, and more phones for china/japan.

i know that SE produces only 250 000 Pxxx phones a Q
but i would like to know how many Z1010 and V800 are produced a Q, anybody got any info on that?

for this Q i would prodict that SE's sales won't be that spectaculary, although the T610 is selling in massive numbers (again), S700 dropped alot in price, T230 is still doing well, and K500 is starting to be more in the spotlights. thats my view on europe
for america i don't expect there share to rize, there's to much competion from siemens and samsung. and ofcourse americans love themselfs more and more, so moto will be doing very good aswell.
Asia is hard to prodict, whats in today is out tomorow, fashion and low priced phones mean more then performence and value for money.

japan and china will be a more stable market for SE i think.
anybody got any info on the premini sales? cause it would be strange if that was a hot item. but we all know how japanees are, once they like something it sales in massive numbers.

anybody else who wants to give his forcast?
