.........right, good argument judge me on my spelling rather than on what I actually said.........very mature, pat yourself on the back oh great one. Since you obiviously understood what I meant y be so pedantic about it? If I were as immature as u i'd be inclined to take offence, fortunately im not.

Shouldn't we be keeping this on topic rather than having childish squabbles about who's right and who's wrong?

The guy broke his P800, so come on guys, shed some light on where/how he can fix it.

Thankyou!

Ur right Yazan24...I lied...I am offended, in fact I'm soo offended I've been crying all this time...but now...I'm angry because I have T(he)H(ate)U G(ave) in my veins, burning like an unstoppable rebel force and I'm going to throw my p900 into the wall...maybe I too have anger management problems...whilst Affliciter may thank you, after u called him a psychopath, I for one think u need to assess how u talk, since you think your so funny. U also think his girl (or ex perhaps) should hang herself, u clearly can’t have much experience with the opposite sex if u value electronic items over women. Perhaps u should take some time out of this forum to sort ur own life out. Then again, since u were joking all along I suppose everything that is posted by u seems to be one big joke. What more can I say...I'm loyal 2 the game, I’ll tell it like it is! (Insert ur own favourite childish smiley here Yazan24)

Seriously though Affliciter, don’t bother getting the phone repaired, unless u can do it with VERY cheap parts otherwise its not economical. Instead go all out and by a p910 if ur willing to spend the money, or perhaps consider a nearly new one. If u don't think u want/need all the features consider a p900, u can have it updated with p910 firmware so it will support duo pro disks (up to 1GB). If u had a p800 the p900 is quite a big step forward IMO.

At last.. the first helpful post from 'loyal2thegame'... well.. half of it.

It's good when people try to help. You're just as bad as each other when you're trying to get one over all the time. Give it a rest because i for one am sick and tired of searching through garbage replies.

You know how the saying goes, if you've not got anything nice (helpful) to say, don't say anything at all (stfu!)

Thanks

since you threw your phone, you didn't pay it yourself.
when you're young, and dependant on your parents, you tend to not see the value of things.
i leaned that when the first motorized vehicle i ever bought got vandalized.
(it's a 125cc motorcycle, and i was 26 when i bought it). i actually cried when i saw the gash in the seat some moron decided to slice into.
i realized it must have been someone who hasn't worked hard to buy himself something special.
and i also realized that i've been the same way. there were one or two car mirrors that i broke off when i was young. and now i feel terrible about it, because i know what anguish i put the owner through.

anyway, how to help you ... assuming you'll tell your parents you "dropped it by accident" or "you were kidnapped by aliens who threw your p800 against the wall" i guess you can get some cash from them. to make it easier for you and them, i suggest you turn to ebay.
you can sell the wreck, someone in need of spare parts will buy it, which will give you a little financial headstart.
then look for a used p900 on ebay.
forget about the p910, it's too new, and it's, in my opinion, not better than the p900. the flip looks worse, it can read bigger memory sticks, so in my book that sort of equals out.
the p900 is available on ebay for under 280 euro, if you're lucky. most are around 300, some idiots even win the auction with 350 euro.
that's more than the p900 costs NEW !!
(with service plan, i might add)

so, the money you get from your p800, plus some you can get from your parents, i'd say you shouldn't have problems getting a p900.
(because if you say you don't want a new phone but a used one, and you'll pay for part of it yourself, they'll see you realize those things are expensive and will probably help you more willingly than otherwise)

THEN, go to a local cellphone shop, and look at those cute phone-covers that girls sometimes have. like a teddy bear or something you can strap the phone into. this way, when your next girlfriend pisses you off, you can 1) throw it at her, feel good about it and not hurt her (and not get whipped by her parents/brothers/cousins/boyfriends ). and 2), your phone will SURVIVE !

i say next girlfriend because if a girl is indirectly responsible for your smashing a smartphone, she can't be right for you.
don't put up with the shit a girl gives you. treat her nice, respect her, but if she doesn't give all that back to you then forget about her and dump her like a hot potato. it's better for your gadgets and your nerves. you'll have enough stress in school, with your parents, with your friends, you don't need to suffer from relationship woes also.
you won't have problems getting a girl with a shiny new (sort of) p900 in your pocket.

Well atleast my assumptions were right loyal2thegame, He doesnt pay for the phone himself.

I inserted a bit of humor when talking so it wouldnt seem as if Im preaching to him and so it would lighten up the negative side. In regards to saying he should throw the phone at the girl next time, he is obvioulsy angry at this girl, so there is no risk of offending him so this little peice of humor could lighten up the previous points.

I seriously dont have time to continue this back to the thread. Unlike you I dont have to justify myself to you,

So djkizlive of your going to solder it back on, what type of heatsink do you use, because I was going to solder a laptop peice back on but its directly connected to the motherboard and I was afraid of the heat affecting it.

How do you do it?
