So, as I understand, the feedback is to
1) have an option to hide offline contacts in Group View in both FO and FC mode.
2) In FC mode, have a list without groups showing online/offline buddies. Since it is hard to show 2 lists, we can do it with online sorted on top and offline sorted on bottom.

you understood perfectly

Use the information below, that should let you try the product for an extra week.

Your registration ID is: 2350000025
Your License code is: 158799719202776

With this code, service will expire on Fri Mar 11 00:07:58 2005
==========================
Also, 1.12b is available on the website and supports hiding offline buddies in group view. Right now, the UI to do that is kind of hidden --
Menu->Preferences->Miscellaneous
There is an option to "Display only online buddies in group list".
We will move that to somewhere more accessible.

And, rocker enter opens the "active session" list in chat view if there is nothing to send in the text field.

Enjoy,

1.12 is bad. Crashes when you have the hide offline buddies option selected.

Have uploaded 1.13 up on the website, and available on OTA.

I don't imagine why it would be necessary to have an offline view in FC mode at all. So in sorting the online vs offline in FC view might be a moot point. I perceive the FC mode as a quick and dirty way to glance at your phone and see if you need to pay attention to alerts for features like email, phone calls, etc... So with that said, there is not much one can do with an offline buddy in most IM programs because most don't accept incoming messages when set 'offline'. So if FC was customized with a Group view of Online buddies only in FC mode I don't think the ability to show "offline" users would be missed. One would more likely only want to communicate with buddies showing as online rather then offline.

On another note, will the Emoticons be expanded or will shortcuts be available to insert them in a chat session? Is it feasible to replace those feature listings with icons rather then shortened names displayed in the programs taskbar? I also think it would be nice to kinda remap and group the pull down menus. Kinda of a chore to navigate through what seems like an endless amount of choices in the pull down.

i think the FC mode should be more customizable by the user and should have more features. For example, user can select how to view the his/her list in FC mode (only online ppl, only offline, all ppl, only icq, only yahoo etc...) but; user must do these selections from the FO mode.

also; skin support or theme support for the main program would be GREAT!!!

Ability to reply in FC mode is already present. When the app was in background, and a messages pops up, it shows the person who sent you the message, and number of new messages he has sent, and the text of the last message.

You can select the person using the rocker or pressing "OK", and you are taken to the chat view where you can reply.
