my cda is 162005/8 on my P910a and I successfully updated yesterday. Don't see alot different yet though. Phone seems a bit zippier, but that may be my imagination. Restored just fine.

I am not sure whether is this normal. I paired with a bluetooth headset, after which I turn off my bluetooth in my P910i. Then the bluetooth icon remains, but it's strike out.

However I believe I remember last time when I turn it off, the icon will disappear totally... Is the above normal or? This seems to happen only after my firmware upgrade...

this is normal. As long as you have something paired with your phone, this icon will stay there. If you remove all of your paired devices and turn off bluetooth, then the icon will go away. I think it is meant as a convenience to be able to quickly turn on/off bluetooth if you have paired devices.

Thx... I guess I was plain stupid... Just now I went to Bluetooth and checked it again... Argh... suddenly I saw the headset name there, remove it.. Presto...

I have cda 162005/3, I have tried but after the screen where you have to confirm that you have charged battery, have right pc, usb cable. It stops and nothing happens.
I tried several times but it is not working, it just shows the next screen empty. I have updated before with the same pc. I tried with opera and internet explorer, same story.

Does anyone experienced the same problem or have a solution for this.

I found if you have a dodgy or high latency internet connection this effects the update as well. Make sure you have latest version of Java on your pc. Latest Pc Suite from SE. SP2 from Microsoft if you got XP and SP4 if you got 2000. also update your syncstation driver. and try again, if you don't come right and you are in the Johannesburg area in SA I will do it for you for a small fee or you can take it to a service centre and get it done for free, just check that they have the latest version because they don't always bother downloading it from Emma.

I noticed that the phone is only ever so slightly faster and the quickpoint app is the only difference I noticed. I wish they would make the bluetooth work better i.e. faster connections, guess I'll have to wait for P1000 for that.
