hi people i have tried this software and its not too bad. The softwares equliser works best with the standard earphones although there are a few bugs like not being able to read variable bit rate mp3's properly and removing one of my dodgy mp3 files which make the phone crash.

The error is in showing the length of time of a 80kbps of a 128kbps mp3. I think its in the se's sound processor device which is at fault. If you plug it onto a hifi then you notice the bass when playing around with the equaliser. You have to have a pretty hefty set of headphones to be able to differentiate between levels of bass.

The spectrum analyser is ok, could be better

The skins are a little basic

Otherwise id say the MP3 player is ok just needs a bit more development.

@R2007
Did you know that all spectrum analysers are inaccurate?
This because in theory the math you need to have a 100% accurate spectrum analyser is infinite!
And the slower the hardware, the more cheating you needed to do to display a spectrum analyser in realtime.
So I say this: Be happy there is one for you to see.

Thats fine its just that the display isnt as good as the OGG player or Ultra MP3 display, which look quite funky, you gotta have one of them you know. But apart from that its a good system. I have contacted the developer and the developer says there are more updates in the near future. I sent the bugs I have ecountered and he is in the middle of sorting the bugs out.

A new version is available (I got a mail), but it still crashes with more than a few songs in a playlist.

still proof that the developer is working on it. Keep us posted on the quality of each update, I may buy it soon.

Well, new version available, long playlists now work, but sound quality is a disaster, absolutly horrible. This was fine in earlier versions.

Maybe all of this should have been done in beta testing rather than releasing a poor programme & possibly tarnishing its reputation permanently.

You can make one . I dunno where. I'm sure there were many quality skins I've made for this application if only it did have no conflict with many other programs I use.
