i think we should demand airtel for dynamic ip. as u r aware airtel's (mo, airtel) ip is already blacklisted by many site
here is their email id
techsupport@bharti.com
if they don't reply to ur querie than i think we should come together and complain about it to DOT.

Well..i dont face any problems doing my stuff with MO... and i think demanding a static ip for a low bandwidth connection is asking for too much. I guess they would want us to pay more if we are to avail of such services. here has the airtel ips been banned?

not static but dynamic !
even rim is providing dynamic ip to rconnect users.
providing dynamic ip is not a big task they can easily do that by setting up dhcp server.
and don't u face problem in downloading stuff from rapidshare and megaupload?

@Dheeraj
Good point. Infact, I was also thinking the same. Airtel should provide dynamic IP for MO users like Reliance does.
Another point, you might be knowing about their irregular rates for MO. In Kerala, its 250/- per month and 2000/- for year. But in Karnataka, for the same, 600/- per month and no yearly plan(only available in postpaid. For prepaid, 20/- per day). This is simply ridiculous. We should protest regarding this. They should introduce uniform rates all over India.

only 49?
here in maharashtra they charge 160/month
and it is not available in mumbai
why the hell every thing is expensive in mumbai and maharashtra??
and why they have different plan for different cities?
why not 1 plan?
Every stuff from Airtel is expensive in Karnataka and it's cheapest in Kerala. Even though Karnataka has highest Airtel subscribers, I don't understand why they are doing this?

I don't know about other palces, but I get NoP (Net On Phone) for only Rs. 99 per mnth from Airtel Prepaid (Delhi). I can browse any web/wap link using this profile. But i guess its applicable only to Airtel prepaid customers.

But we are paying more than 250 for the same(600 in Karnataka). That is the main fact.
