its a real shame it had to come to this.
apparantly the police found the name of the road he lived in on one of the undetonated backpacks, and after intellegence found there was an electrician living in that road they probably thought they had a good lead, sounds like a decoy planted in the backpack on purpose by the suicide bombers....

@Bri So you are saying that the Police had no right to be deeply concerned about a man who runs in to a Tube Station after being challenged by Plain Clothes detectives?
He was challenged, was he? Remind me where someone (one of the many, many witnesses, perhaps) has verified the police version.

Of course you may say the man did not know they were Police but the Police did not know if he was a bomber or not. He ran onto a Tube Train! They had plenty of reasons to be suspicious, 56 reasons in fact! Plus the fact that the bombers have yet to be caught. .
Of course the police have a right to be suspicious; that's their job, after all. No one has a right to go around assassinating people.

poor bloke, but why on earth was he wearing a big coat on a hot day? surely it must have crossed his mined he might be under suspicion if he's wearing a big coat after what happened before
Round here loads of people wear hoodies and puffa jackets even in this weather. Lots of people look "suspicious".

@Bri. So what you want me to believe is that
I should have every reason to be suspicious of the Police and also that they go around assassinating innocent people for no reason whatsoever?! Is that what you are really trying to say? That this is a conspiracy to do away with electricians?!

Well, that's what happened.
The people who deny it are the ones with the conspiracy theory.

Imagine you are on your way to work and then loads of guys in tracksuits start chasing you with guns. Imagine you are a bit panicky because of all the stuff thats going on at the moment. Imagine you are from Brazil where people chase other people, and shoot them dead all the time.
These plain clothes policmen didnt yell out police did they, just 'get down'. I suppose his first instinct was to run and get away from them.
Im not saying this policy and shoot and kill a terrorist is wrong but if they really thought he was a terrorist why did they let him get on a crowded bus on the way to the tube?

@Bri. People in hoodies would look suspicious if they ran onto a Tube Train. Why can't you see that? Why do you find it hard to believe that the Police were trying to do the right thing in a very difficult situation?

dont forget that in his home country, 600 people a year get shot dead by the police, dont you think with that in mind, 3 police (with police hats on) chasing you you would stop and lay down on the floor.

How could he see the police hats if he was running away from them? apparently they put their hats on after they gave chase.
