9500 iz a good phone but cannot be compared wid SE P series
look 9500 has its own world named communicator while P series iz aming the competiton wid the touchscreen phones...lyke i-mate etc etc...
yet P series also cannot be compared wid other touchscreen phones lyke i-mate etc cuz they r having windows OS while P series having UIQ Symbian OS and nokia s60 and s80
now three diff categories shud not be compared ....
cause everybody has a special feature and its hard to say this phone is a good phone
nokia s80/s60 amazing cheap where u can install 1000+ of apps...
p sereis amazing..cell phone, no virus probs and supports a lot of formats and has more than 1000+ apps of UIQ but not in the level of s60/s80 and iz a phone cum PDA.
I-mate/o2 xda's / hp ipaq etc... these cell phones are highly better than P series and Nokia s60/s80 phones in feature wise...so iz useless to compare wid them..but wat it lacks is the battery life and the probs which are been faced by the mobile user regarding the memory lost in MMC if the battery goes off...so..here again it has a big draw back...but the features are amazing...
if u really wanna compare nokia and SE u shud compare..wid...the non symbian phones...... where SE rules the market while nokia'z symbian phones also cant compete....
it started wid t610/k700i/s700i/k750i/w800/k600/k500/k300/z800 look at these cell phones and compare wid nokia... non-symbian...phones.... they will look plastic...!!!...and if u compare..wid.. symbian phones of nokia...den...2-3 new phones of nokia may be..good..rest nokia symbian phones also look plastic

Well nokiamaniax, i would like to apologise to you immediately for being such a "Loser", what was i thinking when i bought a phone/PDA with a nice size screen that i can carry in my pocket, a moment of madness, .......... oh my .. GOD, i have just noticed i also have a large screen TV when i could have bought a smaller one.

I emailed SE about this rumour of a new P Series phone and they told me to keep checkin there new phones section on there website, now if this rumour wasnt true then im sure sony would of said something otherwise?

The PXX fans have dreamed about a 910 successor shortly after the 910 come out. (look back to posts of dec. 2004) the problem is SE have invested a lot in the P series and only manage to sell them in moderate quantities (by cellphone standards).So much so that the first quarter of this year SE posted huge profit drops.Then they hastely pushed the k750i thru,but alas they haven't tested it properly and the complains come in quicker then the phones went out.So much so that some networks dropped them all together (ie. O2) shortly afterwards SE's name suffered a lot.The other thing is the market for a Pxx device is not clear anymore.Microsoft (at the top) and Nokia at the bottom have closed the gap in the middle (Pxx) well,lets wait for october and see.

u better read the full news...properly...if u cant look at the screen properly...better wear a specks.
sony ericsson last year invested in camera phones which they had clearly mentioned and now they have invested in the music which we already got the example walkman phone this year iz all abt music cell phones and thats the future of the cell phone which is now been followed by many other companies including blokia oops nokia..!!!
sony ericsson has always got itz p series on the top level !!! look at nokia apps and sony ericsson apps DO U EVEN GOT A SINGLE TOUCHSCREEN APPLICATION
all the top 10 applications also support uiq specially p910i
look man its useless to compare nokia wid sony ericsson and i told u b4... cuz nokia has its own different strategy which we dont lyke it... and sony ericsson has its own different..which we prefer..!!!
nokia comes out wid..many cell phones... wid minor changes...
while sony ericsson comes out with the complete cell phone and dare u talk abt the symbian phones in small budget which havnt come out ..and i dont think its a BIG PROBLEM cuz...nokia.. finds yet sony ericsson TUFF even when sony ericsson has not even come out yet wid a symbian small budget phome?
lets think wat if sony ericsson comes out today? NO NOKIA?
