WHy people consider all the misery that goes on in the world as being a sign of anything special I do not know, it has been going on for thousand of years.
Suffering is part of life, even if we were to become completely altruistic and share all the world's resources equally there would still be suffering.
Some people seem determined to look at the world through fatalistic eyes when the world is merely continuing as it always has. Humanity will not be around forever, species come into existence and they become extinct, that is the natural order of things. Death is as natural a part of life as birth is. Why do people fear to die? It is going to happen to all of us and there is nothing we can do about it. So too will humanity eventually die out or change into something else. That too is natural.

Perhaps it is best that we stick to the topic of the end of the world though and suffice to state whether we agree with such theories when they become relevant to our posts.

Thats it. All of us need to be more conscious of what we are doing...All of us will die one day thats for sure but i am sure no one wants to die a miserable painful death...And if we continue to live recklessly thats what will happen to all of us. In the next few years the world will see unending crisis of everything...Water fuel food clean air.. Take a look at african countries : aids, famine.. War.. What not...And all the developed countries do is think of making nuclear bombs !

If it's the end of the world, how then ? Are we all gona die in a second by some unknown force or will it by mother nature ?
I don't believe in any kind of armageddon, the only thing that can vanish life from earth is an asteroid big enough to make a new ice age.

@M_R
The sort of situation you describe is overly fatalistic. The shortages in the things you mention can be overcome, the technology already exists to do so.
The world is really no different now than it was five thousand years ago, the technology may have changed, but we face the same basic problems we always have e.g. disease, war, natural disasters, famine, etc.

Such as? Technology aside we face the same problems now as we did then. There were famines 5,000 years ago, there are famines now; there were wars 5,000 years ago, there are wars now; there were natural disasters 5,000 years ago, there are natural disasters now, etc.
Our technology and understanding of the world may have altered how we live, but we are still plagued by the same age old problems. Humans still react in the same ways as our anscestors did.
Our technology has changed our lives, but not the basic principles that underpin our lives.
