What will the Nokia cost? K800 is actually really cheap, SEK 3950:- is what I'm paying for mine, on RELEASE day! I don't care about video, since I know I won't use it, but for those of you that it matters so dearly to, why not get a Nokia in the meantime?

Holy crap - that's $537US by today's rate!!! I sure hope Cingular picks it up and subsidises it so that I can afford it for under $300US, otherwise I might have to wait a lot longer to get it

It only just hit me as to how huge the display on the N73 when comparing it to the K800. Nevertheless, I think that 2 inch is ample size and I value finess over size anyday. It will interesting as to which one sells better.

And just to add. I don't think that the N73 will be THAT cheap. I mean the N70 is currently at more then that and I'm sure that at that price Nokia would be making a loss.

N73 and K790/K800 seem to have the same resolution. (240 X 320)

How could the screen on the N73 be larger since both have the same pixel count?

same way both 17" and 19" LCD displays have the same resolution - 1280x1024, the bigger screen has fatter pixels therefore they MIGHT appear more grainy.

That's cheap IMO, usually SE high-end phones are more like 6000 SEK on release date! I remember paying 6300 SEK for the T28i =) But sure, it will be even cheaper with a subscription, plus the handset might be different priced in the US.

I paid 6100 SEK for my T28. =)

So 3990 SEK for the K800 sounds pretty nice.

I think the most I've ever paid for a phone is $300. I just can't see the point in it if it costs more. Normally I either get it from my service provider (Cingular) with heavy discount for 1-2 year contract, or buy it 4-6 months after relase for about 1/2 of the initial release price.
