Quote:- When the phone is in silent mode, it still makes a beep when you disconnect from a WAP internet connection. All other sounds but this appear to be disabled.
This has been a bug in their earlier handsets (I know it was there in my k750), so I doubt it'll end up being fixed. Besides, most operators are shutting down their circuit-switched data services anyway, relying solely on GPRS/UMTS (and rightly so.)

After I disconnect the phone from my computer I get the message "Inactive SIM". I have to power-off the phone to reconnect to Orange.
Has anyone else seen this?

I recently got a K800i (won it in a competition, so it is unbranded and not tied to any network). The firmware version is R1CA018, which does not match any of the "official" versions listed at the start of this thread. Does anyone know what this version is?
I had the same firmware, on a contract phone that I bought directly from O2 at the beginning of August. I flashed it to R1CF001 using the Wotanserver, which seems to be the latest generic firmware.

I got my K800 from Carphone Warehouse (UK), and it's unbranded.
My CDA is
CDA102568/6 which according to
this page is from
Trade North Africa / Middle East - whatever that means.
Can anyone else who got the K800 from CPW tell me what their CDA is?
Is my CDA likely to cause any issues with SEUS in the future?

Hello
I have had my phone from CPW for over a month now and the same firmware.
No it will not cause you any problems when coming to update the phone.
The update may not be out straight away like some of the other unbranded ones, but it will update asap.
I hope this helps.

Hi Guys,
Found another bug today:
I have the headphones plugged in and i'm listening to the radio on my phone while i'm doing some stuff on my computer at work. I start to hear interference in my PC speakers indicating a call is incoming. The radio switches off and the phone crashes to a blank black (not white like others usually mention) screen. The phone reboots back to the main screen and the radio symbol is visible at the top but no radio sound is heard. The call was obviously missed but there is no missed call entry.
This happened to me twice yesterday so I did a master reset and it happened three times again today.
The callers phoned again a few mins after and when I asked each of them if they had called previously they informed me it started ringing before they were presented with a "This number is not recognised" message.
Is anyone able to replicate this? I doubt it makes any actual difference but just in case the frequency I was listening to is 99.5fm which is for Radio1 in the UK.
RA.

I'm wondering, my phone is not branded but it has a sim lock can I still update with SEUS if there is a new firmware?

I've had my phone crash a couple of times (including once where it wiped the date and time but nothing else).
