When youve got activesync working and th TyTN is hooked up via bluetooth or USB it appears as "my device" in My Computer, you can browse through as you would normally do.
Im still trying to find a way to let my TyTN access my network shares over wifi....im sure its summot im doing wrong LOL!
I use RESCO File Explorer and use the map network drive function. Works perfectly.

True....after your (masseur) recommendation i used the resco registry function and worked a treat. Attempted to map a network drive but didnt really give it chance i think...FTP works a dream on it also.

Is there not a way to use the TyTn as a generic flash memory device like a USB flash drive? To access stuf on uSD card (or phone memory?) without the need for other software?

Check this thread for WMStorage, closest to what you requested.

ugh! no thanks. I like the idea of a radio in the TyTN but I don't want a hard numeric keyboard. I'd rather use that space for more screen and have the soft numeric keyboard

Hey Guys,
I've got a view questions.
If you are running, lets say, a messenger program, can you also be surfing on IE?
and my other question is
Is it possible to put a lock on your SMS's like on those motorola phones, or is there an program i can d/l for that, cause i would really liked that feature.
Ian.

You can run MANY programs before you see a noticeable effect on the speed of your device (so ive noticed anyway), yes you can run messenger then pop into IE, then go onto outlook at the same time no problems.
the second question, do you mean password protect your SMS messages??? or lock the numbers you can send them to??
