any sign of the new firmware?

anticipating next firmware like all of you guys. btw, the last time i updated firmware i lost all info. Any advice on what to do before next update. I got lots of notes and as for contacts i have made a backup. How to avoid losing all notes and applications data installed?? Thanks in advance

Fist I made a total sync with Outlook.
Then I made a backup of all items in phone using the Program Suite.
Then upgraded the fw. in the phone.
After the upgarde I restored the backup.
The I made a totalsync of all items again BUT with the settings that the computer should overwrite all in phone (not merge data). If I didn't do this I get doubles in Outlook of almost every item, both calendar enteries and contacts.

From the beginning i'm experiencing the following problem with the phone :

When the 3g signal gets weak , the signal bars drop to 1 or 0 blocks and i lose the connection with the current phonecall .
Then the 3G symbol is gone and i get a good connection again .
When it picks up 3g signal again same story . Almost every time my calls get disconnected .

is no one else facing this problem ?

Could be the area or place you live has terrible 3g coverage??. Im with tmobile here in the uk and my 3g coverage is spot on, very rarely do i lose 3g reception. Try ringing up your provider and ask them if they are having any problems around your area...the phone as far as i know uses a real time attenna for its reception...well thats what i have been told over at my-symbian forums.
