Hi all,
Just a quick update prior to my review, having collected my N93 with the new Firmware all i can say is start up up time has really been cut. Seeing as this is a smart phone i can't believe just how quick it is 28secs including entering my pin to to fully on. Also opening apps is now virtually instantaneous even with Tom Tom the globe spins for such a short time if you blink you'll miss it. The Camera problem when turning the screen to Landscape mode is now fixed no more front Camera activation and when going to Landscape from flip open mode there is no delay at all.

I'm in the states, I cant get the new firmware.
My N93 is too buggy! But it still handles the 2GB ok well its filled all the way up.
Do you know of anyway i can get the update?

Hi Boba,
Yes Quickoffice and PDF's all open in wide screen if the phone is in Laptop mode the only app that doesn't so far is Tom Tom but to be honest i actually prefer the flip open view for this app anyway as it shows more information in this view IMO.
@americany13
The Nokia Software update service is now back online so just log on to the update service and you are good to go.

Glad to see you guys keeping it real on this thread.
Unfortunately for my please but fortunately for my career development I'll have to postpone my E90 & N65 & E61i purchases for the moment.

Hi Prom1,
No problem bro variety is the spice of life i even tried out the TyTN a WM5 device just to see what it was all about. As at least some of us are open minded enough to buy devices that suit our needs and are not hooked on just one brand for the sake of being loyal to it. But for now at least until the E90 appears i have found my perfect combination N93 and 8800 Special Edition all bases covered both big and small and i can do everything i want with ease. Considering i hadn't really had many Nokia's till June 2006 i seem to have a serious addiction, anyone know if there's a Nokia's anonymous as i think i may need help LOL.

Marc,
I know a few people who could do with a trip to 'NA', as you put it!
Maybe even myself, as I'm toying with the idea of a 6290(really want the one from 3GSM with fp2) to play with............
