Now its 15fps qvga, and 30fps for lower resolutions
Here´s the part that matters...if someone here is polish, please translate this
W nowym sofcie R6D15 ma byc podobno upgrade do Symbiana 9.3 oraz do UIQ3.1. Wielu tak pisze ze bedzie. Sa dwie wersje albo telefon bedzie do tego upgrade mial albo wyjdzie nowy P990i/P995 z tymi poprawkami. Data to okolo 21 maj to wersja najwczesniejsza moze sie przedluzyc do konca czerwca.
Co maja wniesc zmiany:
- wideo 320x240 30fps mp4
- lepsze zarzadzanie RAM-em
- HSDPA w co bardzo watpie bo hardware nie da sie przeszkoczyc chodz HSDPA to ulepszony UMTS
- ulepszenie predkosci USB
- i paru innych dodatkow java, szybsze uruchamianie
W zadne sposob nie da sie tego potwierdzic jest to opinia paru ludzi. Czas pokaze co bedzie

but will there also be the today screen an the new desktop with those many icons (which can be rolled out) from the p700 included?

I'm a a bit puzzled. Wouldn't there need to be an improvement in P990i hardware in order for HSDPA to be installed? Or is this what it says in the above translation?
Is it possible that a HSDPA chipset has already been embedded in the P990i?

Just wondering....If it is for real the conversion to UIQ 9.3 with the new FW (R6) How will we know? I just searched my phone and found no sign that we now got UIQ 9.1......am I wrong....
...how will we know that it changes....

that was a bit of confusion i think, because its symbian 9.3 that supports it, but then you will need hardware to support, that afaik the p990 does not have
we will know the symbian version has changed when we face dramatic improvements on the RAM issue...on surface, not much will change
