Yeah Expansys seems a bit lost though, at first the phone was at £549 then £449, yesterday it shoot to £599 and it's now down to £399 a bit weird.
I would love if they could remove another £50.
The best price I've seen so far is from a Swiss online shop with £309.

I really hope that the P1i, after an extensive usage, and SE's behaviour afterwards will not become a deja vu for those who have forgotten SE's attitudes and who are excitedly & impatiently awaiting the release of it.

Hi all,
I think Expansys where testing the public's reaction to what a premium SE device would sell for last Year the P990 was well over £500 and the specs are vastly improved.
Now they will just order when you place an order so are not stocking it as they still have 21 M600's which are now selling @£166.95 you can understand why they may be reluctant to stock it just yet.
Personally i think the Expansys price is what it should sell at unless anyone knows any better prices for UK.
You really are getting the best SE are doing all wrapped into one package
and £400 i think is a reasonable price.

@tonyitalian
The link is in the post you have quoted and it's not pre order it is available just on an order only basis which means Expansys are not stocking it but will get it in for you once you order it so those that want it can get it now waiting required except maybe a couple of a days for it to arrive.

Actually Dogmann... I ordered with Expansys a few weeks ago... and they still do not have any information when the phone is coming... that is why I said it is preorder....

However good you may feel the P1 keypad is it is not a full qwerty with a massive viewing screen so no advantage here to the P1.
How exactly is M2 an advantage over Micro SDHC? as these are already available in 4GB and @£40 approx and larger sizes already announced for later this Year. So what advantage does M2 have as i can't see any,
Ram both devices have 164mb installed and neither have 150mb's free after boot up up both have approx 80mb Ram free after boot up so again no advantage to one or the other.
Chip wise the E90 wins no contest as has the OMAP242O with Power VR MBX graphics chip so again here the E90 is the winner using the latest and highest spec available whilst the P1 & W960 both still use the same very old chip as the original UIQ3 chips and why they are held back from higher quality Video recording and even playback is effected.
By all accounts the camera in the E90 is also excellent so no advantage to either device here either.
Finally and most important one device will be fully supported with fast release of Firmware upgrades whilst who knows what SE will do after recent events.

@Dogman,
the only advantage M2 has over Micro SDHC is to Sony's coffers!!!! they can keep prices higher, and it means existing Duo Pro Users have to buy a new card whan they buy a new device. Sony have a history of changing storage media and they are not about to give up on a nice little earner now.
