Take photos whilst browsing the web?? That'll be a challenge. I guess it's hard to judge on how good a screen looks until you've really seen it in the flesh. Many cameras can make screens look washed out. Is that the loud speaker at the bottom front??

With regards to the SONY logo peeling off with the shatterproof sheet, the front logo does seem to illuminate so even if you were to remove it, you should at least still be able to get the illuminated SONY logo up at the top. Some might even like that more... it'll be like a Bravia TV where you have a solid monolithic front, then can have the SONY logo illuminate if you want.

Hmmm, well based on several press shots, it seems like it illuminates, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Have you tried installing 'Xperia Z HD Wallpapers' from the playstore yet? A good selection of wallpapers too choose from, and even on the display of my S they look great.
