HMD belongs to a chinese company.
That is why most of their devices has a chinese version and global version with android stock.
So far xa3 is tipped to again use imx300. I thought they would give the 400 when flagships get new one.

I think if he's implying something than it's that we will see only one "base" flagship phone, aka XZx. There still could be Premium and Compact. That how it should be last year - XZ3 as XZ2 and XZ2 Compact since first half and Premium for second.

CES we should see 2-3 mid range Xperia. Sony should announce their flagship during MWC (did not state how many though).

Well it depends, perhaps some regions may only receive the 855 with X24 (no 5G support) and other regions will have the 855 with X50, which offers 5G. Or maybe one device, the premium or main flagship will offer 5G, which other lesser 855 devices will only offer the X24 modem.
