Automatic or not, having something thats spring loaded no matter how dampened would probably cause some damage. Anyone who owned a Nokia 7110 will know, remember.. the matrix style phone ? The sliding cover was very prone to breaking because of the spring mechanism.

Yep, i agree with you, but that was because there was no "braking mechanism".

Remember the lastest K7 decks, when you push "Open" the deck would open smoothly because it had some "braking" mechanism...

i was playing with Sharp GX20 today, and i must say that it has the best screen i`ve ever seen on mobile phone. It has 240 x 320 pixels just like S700. while playing with GX20 i was thinking about S700(if GX`s screen is so nice, what about S700??!?!?!?!) then i was talking with my friend and he said that the only diffrence betwen S700 and GX20 will be the number of colors (65k-262k) if we are talking about screen of course! i was kind of sad because of that. i think GX20 has great screen, but i expected more from S700.

Correct me if i wrote somethink wrong!

I dont think the GX20's screen is any better than the other quality screens used in Samsungs, V600's and the Nokia 6600. How it will compare to a K700 i dont know yet, i havent got mine

SE screen have always seemed a little dim compared to its competitors, hopefully they will have resolved this with the Z1010, K700 and the upcoming S700.

The GX30's screen is even better with more colours, but from the previews ive read about the S700, its screen is much more vibrant than even the GX30's. We'll have to wait and see for ourselves though.

Go use babelfish ...

Look at the sixth pic, the camera in action .... bloody hell, the screen is good

Oh and if I am NOT mistaken, these pics were taken with the S700's yopunger brother, the S505is. Want proof ? Look at the last pic, see the reflection ?

Nope, like many websites they've either got it wrong, or want to tempt people into preordering the phone so it costs them more.. then they have to wait 6 months OR lose their deposit.
