My Nikkon Coolpix digital camera takes very decent pics at night, and the Nokia 6600 seems to take the odd one or two decent pics. Maybe the firmware will improve it but to me the night pics are no better than the T610!

- Nokia Series 60 (7650/3650/6600/...) take night pictures A LOT better than K700i / P800 / P900. Itīs sensor is CCD vs CMOS in SonyEricssonīs => less noise and warmer colors.
K700i vs 6600 => In daylight K700i will take better and detailed pictures, in low light conditions 6600 beats to the ground K700i. K700i and itīs VGA SE brothers have
a lot of noise and no firmware will improve that.
- About taking pictures in clubs/discos: who said anything about taking pictures of drunk people? In these places you can take great pictures of dancing girls, little skirts, maked-up girls,... you name it!
K700i will take noisy and blured pictures, 6600 will take just (more) blured pictures. I have a K700i but for night purposes I rather have 6600 quality.
- About the cameraīs sound: It looks like a shot (from a shotgun) sound (donīt ask me why they changed the beautiful "camera-sound" of T6x0). Itīs weired, awful and calls a lot of (bad) attention.

we drove back to Frankfurt this weekend as my family wanted to come and stay for a week so here are a few pics
The Eurotunnel shuttle train
inside the train at the Calais end as the cars in front are moving out
we stopped overnight in Brugges so here are some pics in the main square
the town hall before sunset
and after sunset
and some other building in the square (I'm not very good at remembering names unfortunately)
I would also have got a red Ferrari (355 I think) in front of me on the German autobahn but by the time I got my phone out and turned the camera on the road in front of him cleared and with a hell of a vroooom he was leaving me in a could of dust! (and I was already doing nearly 200kmh at the time!)

@masseur: Lovely photos there, my parents went to cologne recently and they had some good photos, but yours are brilliant.
Well mine were taken on a nk7610 (i love this thread though), my dog was sleeping, and i thought it looked kind of funny.
oh, and yes the photo is the right way up.

well I am going to resist saying "aw.. cute" since that not my thing
the 7610 certainly does a good job too by the looks of this as there is some nice detail on the fur although it does suffer a little where the sun was shining

Oh, and i think that NK7610 automatically increases the brightness on photos, i think that the S700, will be good, as the options are much more customizable, like changing the white balance.
Here's a pic of one of my cats, i just adjusted the contrast and brightness a bit (but i don't REALLY know what i'm doing!) as it was taken indoors last night with a light on.
