not happy at all i could seriously cry at the minute, after being £20 out of pocket, i just really am upset at this now.

Can someone clarify the definition of BROD? Or are different people using the term in different ways?
For some, I hear BROD means the keypad and camera ring light lights up and then phone is frozen and either it won't reboot or they need to remove the battery. (I haven't had this issue *yet*)
Others describe it when the phone also lights the keypad, camera ring lights up, it vibrates, but within 10-15 seconds it is restarting - not a full reboot, but back to main screen and signal search. This is what I frequently get now but did not before 031.
I'd like to add my name to the many tomorrow by calling SE to voice my dissatisfaction with this bug. It only did this maybe once every 2 weeks for my 029 and 037 firmware. I still think the improvements of 031 are worth the pain of the restarts (IMO) but as the frequency grows and at worst possible times, I'm rethinking that. It is now 1-5x a day. I've tried removing the battery for several minutes every other day or so but it hasn't helped.
I have Western Euro, Generic, unbranded firmware.

Restarting no matter what lights up is not BROD. BROD is short for Blue Ring of Death which someone here on the forum came up with when one of the first cases appeared. BROD is when the keypad lights up and the blue ring around the lens is lit but the phone is nonfunctional no matter what you do.

Dunno if this already posted before, but I found another bug of R1EA031 : accessing "Manage email" (Messaging - Email) makes K850 restart. I've tried it twice and my Sofia restarting twice.

@Rifqi Azis
My BestPic works just fine. My 'Manage Email' does not restart the phone.

Finally managed to get the update done then i updated on SEUS.
For those only just reading this is a brand new k850i branded on t-mobile with the 038 firmware,.
It took 3 atempts to get the unbranded 037 software.
Updated to 031 on Seus last night but to be honest the phone seems very very slow to react, browsing is also very slow. SHould i have done a hard reset after the SEUS update to 031?
Help me guys!

if everything is very slow then make sure that the media player is not creating an index, navigate there and instead of saying, 'Total : 430' it should say 'Updating 48%', let it finish indexing then it should be quick, if not, i don;t know what you ahve done...

No need to do a master reset after SEUS update.
