Surprise surprise, another week passes and the W700i has dropped AGAIN in price today, but by a further £20 (approx R265) now compared to the £10 drop last week. That's 3 consecutive price drops in 3 weeks...
Now selling for £139.95 (approx R1840 with this morning's exchange rate)unlocked and unbranded from Carphonewarhouse, when bought with £10 airtime:

The long-serving,less-depreciating K750i has also been dropped in price, now £109.95 when bought with £10 airtime thus £119.95= approx R1560 with the current exchange rate.

Another 2 SE handsets that have dropped in price this morning are the Z530i: £59.95 (R795) when bought with £10 airtime,
... and the newer K510i has experienced its first price drop already, now £79.95 (R1060)when bought with £10 airtime, also from CPW.

@da wanqsta: The Z530 would make an ideal second handset for those with some cash to spare.

Yeah I'd agree, and it's currently the cheapest SE phone with Bluetooth, which has to be the key feature that I look for before contemplating buying any handset, whether a spare/secondary phone or otherwise.
I recall a similar 'brixsta' train of thought mentioned on this thread WRT this 'must-have' feature.
A pity the W300i isn't as cheap yet; no surprises there though. I prefer this incarnation's slightly more funky aesthetics.
The K610i is now available on the (notorious?) O2 site, in that 'sunset red' fascia finish which, for some reason, really appeals to me on that particular handset.

@amaw & brix: not to get techie, but if you want an SE phone with bluetooth being the only parameter the old (and still available) T68i is still on the market!!!! Crappy camera and so-called "ergonomic" styling and all!!!!

@ abu,
What deep recesses of distant stockrooms still have the T68i lying around?
Having said that,I bought one last year from a good eBay seller, still sealed in the original box, but they were nearly the same price as the current Z530i price, due to possibly their 'classic' status amongst SE die-hards; well here in the UK anyway.
The dog-slow menu and functions soon began to be a growing frustration and I wasn't gonna keep it just for the sake of it being such an iconic, classic SE design. After a few months I passed it onto my nephew as a spare phone for him.

Have to agree with the wanqsta,

is essential in a phone but does not mean just any phone will do...if that was the case I'd still be using my T39m.
