UPDATE:

Turned off the 3g and when using GSM only the internet doesnt cut off once and phone works perfectly.

Now when i turn 3g back on it works for a minute or so then i get the probs connecting etc depsite the 3g beign displayed so it must have strong enough signal.

Now fair enough im indoors but so is my work colleague on the K810 also on tmobile and she has her 3g turned on as well and no disconnections?

Any ideas to the probs below? or is the phone just poo at picking up 3g? Does the 3g symbol on the screen indicate full coverage of 3g or could it be a weak signal? My Signal bar shows as full.

Ok, well it is running very slow is the phone, the internet browser when using opera or normal built in browser constantly times out, it takes nearlly 45 seconds before it connects to google most of time it just says "connecting".

The phone itself seems to be running normally but when using opera or built in browser if i select to go on google or whatever, the little "progress" bar that comes up at the bottom comes up but doesnt do anything for about 1.5 minutes then all of a sudden the page comes up fully. Before it was doing the time out thing all the time so im not sure whats up with it. Could this "new" phone be faulty? It seems that it is taking too long to get the connection and then constantly looses it and has to reconnect at every page although it doesnt say but the globe goes grey. . And when it doesnt load i get "Communication Failure. Try again or contact your operator for support." The message in opera is "failed to connect to the internet"


Whats up with it? Ive got the right settings. My friend who is sat next to me also on t-mobile is working fine no probs & has a k810.

Rang t-mobile they say theres no probs and could be the phone thats faulty because i have tried another t-mobile sim in my phone and does the same and my sim in someone elses phone works fine.

Mine K850i did brod 2 days ago and i sent it to the dealer to claim warranty. I hope i'll get back my K850i next Monday. I'm using K810i right now but frankly speaking i'm much much missing my K850i. Navigating through messages(inbox/sent) in K810i is very sluggish.

@richard Don't know if you are in the states but T-Mobile is having nation-wide issue with t-zones, picture messaging, and internet, basicly all data services. I just called and they informed me of this, gave me 100 bonus mins as well...

Try turning HSPDA on, maybe your in a H.. region only. My 3G still works?

please i need some help.. i bought credits with davinci and they haven't answered their phone or emails today. i am trying to unlock my k850i and windows installed some drivers when i first plugged my phone into it via USB (i normally use a mac). Davinci client says i have to install drivers before unlocking my phone but i'm not sure if the drivers windows installed will work with their client. they have some long tutorial on their site about installing 'signed drivers', but since windows already installed drivers i can;t install the ones i downloaded from davinci. what do i do now?

hey people

sorry if this has already been posted. I have the R1EA031 software on my phone. tried taking a photo 1st time using the best pic option. Phone then just re-started on me. This happend to anyone else? I don't want to take the phone back to the store I got it from though, even though I just got it a week ago. Would you say its just a software issue that can be resolved with a future update?

ps the 2nd time i tried it. I had no problems

Hi Miyagi,

This is 100% a software problem, this firmware still has alot of bugs. I also have the 031 and it restarts sometimes, even tho its rarely.

I suggest you keep your phone and wait for the next update, since the restart are random.

Btw, even if you bring back your phone to repair, you already have the latest firmware and its not a hardware problem, so there is nothing you can do about it.
