@Seinsho: There's no further unlocking u can do if the phone recognizes the Vmobile SIM u have inserted. I do not think Vodafone locks the browser to its network, so there has to be a way of selecting vactive as the default profile. I have configured a vodafone branded P910i to work with MTN GPRS, so it should work for Vmobile.
Your last option should be to Debrand it online via http://www.davinciteam.com/

@Coola: I dont see the sense in the government's further investment in Nitel if it plans to sell it. They should accept the highest reasonable bid and sell off.

Well now I know when a fone needs unlocking. Concerning d locked browser, dat is exactly wat happened, d whole thing is not clickable(Remember, dis is not my 1st experience with a p910i). Besides, dis friend of mine has formally been browsing wit d same sim on a p910 Quote:

@senisho, i've come across a vodabrand p910 b4 and the problem with it is that the settings are greyed out & therefore cant be edited. there's no futher unlocking you can do in Nija as far as i'm concerned & the only option you have is to go the davinci way (search esato for davinci). i believe you can still use the symbian opera software(not operamini) by downling from opera.com & input the vmobile proxy in the settings.

Finally got myself a 3G phone, speeds are pretty fast but it's still too inconsistent. The screen of the N70 is not as bright compared to my P910 and still getting used to it's UI.
