Did anybody manage to snag one of those free RapidShare accounts today? I received email notification at 3pm, but unfortunately only read the message a few minutes ago. It would appear that the 50000 free accounts up for grabs were snapped up in less than an hour...

Sigh, one would think the Poms would finally have addressed their 'Achilles Heel' in international football games, ie. penalty shootouts...
The Poms seem to relish in finding a scapegoat or two,so I can just imagine how the tabloid newspapers are gonna get stuck into Rooney; only yesterday he was still their golden boy...and I bet at least one of the tabloids (with their penchant for pun headlines) will have a headline called 'BALLS-UP!'
So The Frogs beat Brazil tonight;and not for the first time in a World Cup either...

I'm absolutely loving the knock-out stage of this World Cup. Apart from Ronaldinho being a brilliant player the whole Brazillian team never came to the party at times they were too arrogant.
As for the English, they never had the answers to a bunch of circus clowns from Portugal. I never liked C Ronaldo but had to concede that he is a good player but after watching his dramatics yesterday I won't be the one crying if someone broke his leg.

LOL, I wasn't too off the mark with the tabloid headlines...one had a headline simply entitled 'Nuts!'
The tabloids are also having a field day with Prince Harry's wayward ways again:
http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/story_pages/news/news1.shtml
You gotta have a bit of a snigger at the pathetically comical and shallow tabloid gossip machine, but this is the third time over the past weeks that the prince's er...'wandering eye' antics have made tabloid headlines...
Now what was that proverb about smoke and fire...?
You were warned, Miss Davy...

In an effort to move more of the red (AIDS charity model) SLVR phones, O2 are now giving away a free DVD recorder with every PAYG SLVR sold, at £129.99 (approx R1700), on their site:
http://shop.o2.co.uk/student/[....]rodID=consumer:MOT:L7RED:GROUP
Even if it's not a top spec DVD recorder, it's a nice freebie to get with a PAYG phone like the SLVR for that price.

@da wanqsta: I think Chelsy will let this one pass and stand by her man.

And the other two previous flings over the past few weeks too?
Yeah the one in the link isn't the end of the world, but the point being made was rather that hopefully this is not a continuous pattern developing...
Obviously I don't know all the facts, but if there's any truth in the spate of recent flirts n' flings, then I hope her 'standing by her man' pays dividends in the the long run for both of them, and I sincerely hope she doesn't end up being a regretful victim of blinded love for her prince...
Maybe she is the right one for him; I shouldn't really be judging and pigeon-holing such scenarios, in all fairness,(even if there seems to be increasing writing on the wall...) I'd just hate to see her being yet another statistic of stuffed-up royal relationships.
Who knows, maybe the most impish prince in the royal family ends up being the first out of the current Windsor household to make it work, but I ain't gonna place no bets on this relationship working...
I sincerely hope you prove me wrong, Harry, for Chelsy's sake anyway.

Watched one of those crap girly movies where some prince falls in love with a normal chick while he is finding himself in america. What a load of crock. It almost ended bad: typically it had one of those endings where you think it cannot work, but in the end end it does. I was almost excited when it didn't work out: thought for once someone made a true to life movie, but then they always come with one of those heartwarming ends, the ones that makes you warm and fuzzy on the inside even though it was so fake that you wanted to scream....
But anyway..How was your weekend guys? I had fun. Slept too much and too little at the same time, discovered the MOST EVIL mobile game ever( Farm Tycoon - Still can't put it down!)

Eish mense, it is so damn hot and humid here. (well particularly for the UK anyway...)
Over the past few days, as well as for most of the forthcoming week, temperatures have been 30 degrees celsius and over. Today it's 33 degrees.
Whoever said that the Pom Summer weather is only mild is talking out of their rusty sheriff's badge...
