Open the lens cover, select video mode, then select shoot mode - I now have either "for picture messaging" or "high quality video" - didn't have this be4.


this option (pic msg or high quality) was already in all firmwares, this isn't new!!!

Just updated a phone here at work to R1CA and did a photo side by side comparison with my own phone which has R1BC.

Onscreen the whitebalance was way different between the two but once transfered to the PC, well, see for yourself.

Tried to update the fw for my w800i (currently BC0002) and it seemed to have done something (the whole update procedure went through and it took about 5-8 minutes) but the firmware is still the same.

Mine is unbranded and the update is done through SEUS.

Anybody's w800i has been updated?

What about the USB transfer rate. i am just uploading mp3 with one but latest firmware. but the speed is far from usb2. this is really slow.
so is there any increase in usb transfer rate. i really hope so. becasue theoretically 480 mbits for usb2 means 60MB/Second transferrate. probably i aint even getting near 1 MB/sec
