Still no C905a

I wanted to replace my stolen iPhone 3G with C905 but i think the "a" version isn't going to be available.

Hi, is there anyway to get the Torch App Back?

SE doesn't enabled the torch function when there's a cover over the LED. It seems they don't bother to add code to check if the lens cover is open/closed, and disable it instead.

So, the C905 will not get this feature.

Perhaps the ''addicted to A2 uploader'' can help you with a key driver file

can someone give more information regarding this, as the down key on the d-pad still serves the function of shutting down, coming to home screen, etc. and not scrolling down ... like it is supposed to.

Thanks

@vegetaleb: It's the American version with Tri-Band HSDPA.
the 3G of the "i"version doesn't work here.

@gtr83: It's a long story

That's one of the boons of a touchscreen device, since you need to use both hands to use it, you fail to defend yourself when it matters

I have two C905s and updated both last night, so they each have Smile Shutter now. Wahey.

As usual, the lack of a PROPER back up tool means you have to manually restore most applications and you'll lose custom settings (Wi-Fi, network sharing, the theme, your email settings etc) and have to spend an hour or so starting from scratch - having been able to keep contacts, bookmarks and calendar appointments - plus the contents of your memory card (music/video).

Anyway, I did that but for some reason I have two different variants - Generic Europe and Adriatic. The Adriatic one is the phone I actually use and it doesn't have NearMe or Conversations (in the messaging menu). Both have Google Maps dated 2007 - so not the latest version with things like Latitude (the feature that allows you to share your location with friends).

Looks like it's time to change firmware!

So can anyone help me with the DOWN key on the keypad acting as the END key after a software update form the update service, as whenever i press the down key it take me the the home screen instead of scrolling down and also if i hold it , it shuts down the phone. I have tried updating again but still the same problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Thanks

If you're sure its a software fault then I would only suggest changing the CDA and updating again to a similar fw.

BTW, is the END key working normally?
