On my C905 when i'm typing out a text message and select 'animation' & choose an animation on my screen it appears as an MMS message. How can i change this, plus how can i get to put the animation into a particular part of the text that i wish to send? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, yes the END key is working normally, can you tell me how to change the CDA and update to similar firmware...im sorry, im kinda new to this.

To all those asking about the whereabouts of the conversation thing.
Having updated mine now I noticed straight away what was meant by conversation messaging.
Its when you get a text and it comes up in a speech bubble, and reply and your reply appears beneath in another speech bubble then if they reply it will appear underneath your reply in another speech bubble and so on. It's just another way of viewing texts.
Pretty good imo, but I would like an option to turn it off maybe.
The new firmware is brilliant! It is very very noticeably faster, all the menus and m2 access times are much quicker. Network sharing seems to have changed and I cannot get my head around it yet. Sure it'll come to me.
Overall I'm really happy with the update and recommend anyone to update immediately.

The speed is much improved.
Network sharing is also perfect now, at least on my PC (will try Mac later). Just search for a wireless device, click on the C905 and you can access files like a server drive at VERY high speed - drag & drop files with ease.
Before I had to enter my username and password, plus the workgroup, but now it's just a simple share.
I do think it's stupid that many of these networking features, and other stuff like setting up Internet sharing with your PC, using the phone as a modem, Bluetooth PAN and so on isn't covered in the manual. It's as if SE are putting all this clever stuff in for hardcore geeks and the developers who worked on the product - and nobody else is even supposed to know about it!

Quite easy on a Mac too.
First, go into the Wi-Fi settings on the phone (assuming network sharing is enabled, which is in settings).
As long as you're connected, go to Information and you'll see your handset IP address.
Now go to Finder/Go/Connect to Server and enter
smb://IPAddress and connect.
I then enter my computer username and password, and click to save to keychain, and it presents you with Phone and Memory Stick. Mount one or both as required.
Job done.
Downside is that it seems to be very slow for some reason. Quick to show directories, but really slow to view individual files.

is that on Vista ?
hmm can't seem to work it out on XP, wonder what I'm missing.. I usually work all this stuff out easily

Just updated my unbranded black c905 with the latest firmware. Im seeing a massive improvement in a lot of areas. I havent bothered with the earlier firmwares as there wasnt enough in them to justify the bother (my phone had the very first firmware I believe), but this one was worth getting.
Heres some of the things Ive noticed, some of these improvementsd may have come with the earlier firmwares I didnt bother with but anyway here goes:
* Smile shutter
* Conversations
* Youtube app (works fast over my wifi network)
* Walkmate
* Wayfinder 7 (seems to have given me back my free trial which had expired too?)
* Tracker app (in location services)
* Faster more solid wifi access on my home network
* Faster menues and phone much more responsive in general
* Accelerometer much more responsive
* Chosing large clock now gives me a bigger clock than before (seriously)
* GPS massively more responsive. Originally it would struggle to pick up sattalites on a clear day stood outside. After the update I was picking up sattalites sat in my bedroom, not near the window, on a really cloudy miserable day. I can now see this as a handy feature, as originally it was pretty much un-useable.
Very please so far, cant comment on battery life yet, and havent taken any pics or vids to comment on the quality either.
One final note, phone is still going well, no keypad scratching, dead earpices, or wobbly sliders. I feel for the people who have been so unlucky, but mines been an amazing phone from the day I took it out of the box and after the latest firmware update its even better!

Sorry, yes, Vista. Maybe it's not quite as easy on XP.
