thank you for that reply. Yes it is very rare it happens. do u think sony ericsson are aware of this?
Yes, I went tot the SE service centre and aksked about it, since i have the bugs sometimes.
They said firmware will fix it, and that if i couldnt flash it back at home, they would do it for free

Long time never been in here, just want to check something ... For R1EA031 firmware, i notice sometimes when I off my camera, the shutter closes but it takes a good long few seconds before the phone interface switches back to normal.
Anyone also encounter that?
"Good, long few seconds" ? That just confused me. How many seconds are you talking about 5-10, 10+ if so that is not normal - unless you've got Media Browser playing music in the background.
yes about 5-10 seconds.

* Anyone notice that the Media Browser is slightly faster with a wired headset listening to music, than with a Bluetooth A2DP headset - when browsing around using the Media Browser for Pics/Music Playlist viewing or creation, etc ?? I just got the HPM-75's VERY satisfied with them.
Anytime Bluetooth is functioning the performance of the phone is degraded. I don't mean just ON, I mean actively connected and transmitting / receiving data. I hope they can optimize the code to deal with that because the processor is what it is.
Also any statement that the BROD is due to overtaxing the processor are inaccurate in my opinion because the phone does not end up with BROD on other firmwares when used in the same manner. This is clearly a fault in the code itself which might be compounded by things like minimized programs and others that were mentioned. Since I went back to 037 (3 weeks ago) my phone has rebooted exactly twice - and I noticed both times because typically I'll get a slight vibration of it with a very short tone that doesn't belong to any notification I have set - when I look at the phone after that I see it has 'shut down' and leaving it alone it comes back to life within 15-20 very tense seconds.

If you are getting BROD you have 2 solutions:
-Revert to 037 via kulankendi or davinci
-Let your mobile shop give you another one hopefully with 037
Why 037? because it's the only FW for K850 that doesn't BROD your phone,as simple as that...
BROD happened to me on 037, simply a rubbish phone, get a new one and make sure its not a SE

Hey guys I need your help.
I have a K850i on R1EA031. I updated the firmware 3 weeks ago and the phone worked fine. But now my phone has a problem. The three touch-sensitive soft keys dont seem to respond at all.
I've tried restarting the phone multiple times and it still didnt work.
What should I do? Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Isn't it time for us to be looking for another firmware?
-the media wallpaper become degraded
-megabass degraded
-camera still very slow, colors are not white, poor image algorithm
-video sync problem while multitasking/auto-rotating
-slow UI compared to K800
Seriously, we need a new firmware here...

Are you Positive it was BROD??? This is the first I've heard of this happening on 037. I did have my phone hang a couple of times to where it wouldn't power on past the keyboard lights but I was able to flash it via SEUS and do the "continue anyways" which restored the phone to working order. I have Not been able to do that with BROD because the SEUS flash fails.

I think thats the first documented case of 37 in this thread.
@Naamloos Most of his info is useful. Instead of just shooting him down maybe you should contribute something, minus the sarcasm.
