Man, wasn't that an epic semi-final tonight. I feel for the hosts, but the Italians were deserved winners, well on the night anyway. Those last few minutes of extra time were bril.

@ P.I.M.P: any revised predictions as to who's gonna win the world cup?

Switched off the tv after Italy scored the first goal, only heard this morning that another goal had been scored. I truly wanted the Germans to win but on the night Italy were the better team.

EDIT: Please guys, help a brotherman out. I'm trying to download mxit but my phone has got issues with the particular .jad file and won't install it. Should I just choose a normal .jar file or how can I use Mxit through the Jabber which I've got through IM+.

@786KBR: I went to mxit.co.za/wap and it regognises my phone as an N70. I download the file, when I try to install it though the phone says it cannot install said file. I've never downloaded a .jad file before. I tried the generic file but it fails to download.

I think I'll try going the Jabber route.

@brixta, try downloading another nokia s60 version, or sony version, that could work

Like the man said, selecting a different model of phone may do the trick... If all else fails, check out

http://forum.mxit.co.za/

It could conceivably prove to have the solution to the problem...

Yes that game last night was epic, especially how they did not just score one but two goals, and right after each other. almost like they were saying: lucky? we will show you lucky! we make our own. we deserve to win this. germany played a great game, but just not good enough.

On mxit, the forums is the best way to get it working. have helped quite a few pals getting it to work via there.

Will check on the forums as soon as i get to work, as i am late. blame it on soccer. and on my boss for keeping me up so late for it, and pool afterwards. i seem like the regular pool hall junkie, dont i? lets just say, i spend alot of quality time with my friends and it just happens to be at the pool hall.

Thanks for all the advice folks...I'll get on the internet later today and check out the forums.
Currently I'm in Khayelitsha and have say that speeds on the 3G/EDGE are notably faster then from my usual location in Green Point...will do the speed test just to verify.
