Aiyooo maxis...what is going on...I've been having this "Invalid Mobile" error on my T610 since 2 hours ago. I called Ericserve, they told me to call SE Customer Service. SE said I'm the 14th person to call about this problem, and he correctly guessed that I'm using Maxis on postpaid, and he said its a network problem, not handphone (phew

) and told me to call maxis.
So I called Maxis, and she said the same thing...so many people called to report this error. Apparently when maxis upgraded its network, some postpaid customers are having trouble to connect to the network. I was told to just sit tight and keep trying (swith off & on) every 15 minutes. At least they admit its their fault.
So if any maxis user here getting invalid mobile...dont worry its not your phone.

@novell: hahahhah......at least u took the courtesy to call 123 on maxis....i cudn't even be bothered!!!!

saw the Invalid Mobile thinghy and checked with my colleagues....most of them haf the same message so i figured it was maxis's problem........
upgrading their system huh??? the last i remembered and that was last year, maxis did send sms alerts or letters to users informing of pending upgrade to their system...wonder why this time its diff.....prolly its not a scheduled upgrade....more likely somethin f**ked up in the system and they are making urgent repairs....

Yeah Maxis did an upgrade couple of days ago which now we can book cinema ticket from GSC. Maybe there're some interruption along the way. Heard a news that SE gonna send couple thousand of mobile to Maxis for new subscriber to promote the latest G3. I don't believe that Celcom nor Digi have a chance to beat Maxis superior services or their R&D if they limiting their funds for the said investment.

@novell:

nevermind....at least now u know the six ten is intact!!! and thats all that matters....i had a pretty good scare on sat too....dropped my handset....luckily the sound it made was a whole lot louder than the damage, which is only a little dent on the bottom edge...phew!!! but watta scare it gave me....practically scared me shitless....

and to top it off, i just got my hbh60 repaired.......luckily it was not a case of one going in for repairs as soon as another is fixed
