@francios: Barthez almost had a brain explosion there. 4 minutes of injury time and things are getting desperate.
I don't suppose you could take a picture of one hot chick?

Even though I support the 6th African team I can't ignore the fact that Italy seem like a better team.
France were looking very tentative this evening...no darting runs and no energy in the midfield.

I'll second that; 'tentative' describes their performance in the second half perfectly.
As for Portugal's coach, Scaloni, throwing all the toys out the cot and threatening the ref with hellfire and brimstone at the end of the match..well it just further reflected the biggest bunch of drama queens and prima donnas to grace the world cup for some time.
I'm thrilled that France beat them, but Italy's performance in this competition has to surely place them as firm favourites for the title.
Roll on, Sunday.

I want france to take it, but i cannot argue with italy's performance. they have played well this year. so yeah, sunday is the big day. looking forward to that. where were you guys last world cup? i was at a bar in margate, tired as hell as we drove through the previous evening, got there at 4 am, got up at 7, and had a full day. remember falling asleep on the bar counter in the final minutes.

I see that Neil Watson's
http://www.crimexposouthafrica.co.za site is getting plenty of publicity (and hits) since he launched it this week. Now the IMC has leapt onto the bandwagon, saying that the site is all about negativity, and that it doesn't touch upon the "progress in fighting crime."

Hello... progress? which progress? where? how? the police won't even release crime stats, for heaven's sake!

Always wanted to check out that site...I'm feeling a bit depressed today, nothing beats seeing other people suffer.
On a serious note though I'm one of the few people who disagree with Neil Watson, even though my own family has been affected by crime I've never slagged off this government and it's efforts, sometimes they're misguided but they're at least doing something.
In Khayelitsha I don't feel safe walking outside late at night but in Green Point I can walk home from the nearby bar and the likelihood of anything happening is minimal.
Like I said before I think the best thing someone like Neil Watson can do for himself and his family is to emigrate to somewhere iddylic where someone being robbed makes national headlines.
