I am trying to get my Rogers X10a unlocked for the last few days and tried 2 sellers on ebay and another website that has a youtube video advertising. All refunded my payment saying they don't have unlock code for my phone. What does this mean? It's a brand new Rogers X10a I got from ebay. Do some phones take longer to get unlock code released? What are my options?

there's plenty of unlock codes out there. do a search on here, there were posts earlier in this thread about sites to get unlock codes for fairly cheap.
I have a rogers x10a. i got it unlocked immediately after getting it from ebay. the seller provided it.

I don't see option to unlock Rogers branded SE phones on Davinci
. I just got reply from the 4th site I tried and they replied that the unlock code it not there on their servers for my Rogers branded X10a.

Another thing. Do you have a new "app" visible on your app screen that is called "com.sonyerics..." and has Android's icon? I don't know what it is, but it crashes everytime I try to start it. I can't see the full name of it. When I look under the settings for programs there are 9 different programs with the same name in the beginning.

I've rooted X10i with 023 firmaware & very happy. Have 2 issues though
1- Whenever someone call me, phone rings & vibrates & screen lights, but it doesn't appear who is calling. Instead i've to swype screen lock, then monster lock & then i can see who is calling, but then i've to swype screen lock again to answer a call. I've to unlock 3 times to listen a call, it's weired
I can remove monster lock, but i need it coz i don't want someone to check my mobile.
Before rooting, i had to just swype one time to answer a call. How can i fix this problem?
2- Battery life is not as great as it should. Andy stated that rooted firmaware & UK Generic 023 don't have good battery life. Nordic Generic 023 has great battery life. Reason is that in rooted 023 & UK Generic 023 phone doesn't sleep properly. What's you opinion about that? My battery life has not improved after getting rooted 023.

I have that too and just like you said, it tries to force close everytime you run. I don't recall it was there before the latest 020 update. What is it for?? Does anyone know?

I am still unable to get back my Playnow after the 020 update. I did try to follow the instructions Winnerzero provided in earlier threads but it keeps giving me two options everytime I try to install the Playnow apk files. It keeps telling me to either "Uninstall" or "Launch" but neither options would work. Uninstalling gets the message of "Uninstall not successful" and "Launch" doesn't seem to do anything. What approach do I need to get the Playnow working again? Would factory reset do the trick? Thanks in advance.

@ Mano82 If you update a UK Generic Handset via SEUS its battery life seems much better then that of ones done OTA. Also if you plug a Generic UK handset that's been updated OTA into SEUS, it says there is a update and after that that the battery life seems much better odd eh?
