For your convenience, here's a summary of everything I previously posted stream-of-consciously. I've also sent this to the OP so he can update his original post if needed.
The latest F/W version is
R4GC010. It looks like this is not yet available from SEUS. I got mine
from this shop, as I also needed my APAC languages replaced with America-1 (SEUS can't do this).
I upgraded from R4DB005 - here's what I've found.
Improved
Emerge, Orbit, Equalizer built-in themes are now flash themes
above themes have working "Play Now" link
Key Sound sub-menu choices are "None," "Click," and now "Tone"
camera responsiveness is slightly improved
app responsiveness is slightly improved
web browser and Java apps have finer font, allowing more text to fit on the display
WAP communication partially fixed - reboots aren't needed as often
Worsened
power-on start-up takes longer
network search after power-on takes longer
service menu is slower
DaVinci Code themes are gone (v.R4DB005 had 3 of these, locked to the F/W) - also no longer available from
site
possible bug in MP4 video playback - downloadable "Casino Royale" trailer from
web site no longer plays correctly on phone (but works on PC, Mac, etc.)
Everything else seems the same - camera picture quality,
sound quality, etc.

hi Hlcn Twst,
i noticed that all the improvements you noticed on the new firmware is already in the R4EA031 firmware which I have in my w810 right now, so i guess there's no such improvements at all...

does wotan have the new firmware? cannot access their site lately.. I just hope they fixed the bass and megabass bug with R4EA031 if you read back when the firmware was release alot of people noticed that there's really not much of a difference if you use bass or megabass...
is the sound for the internal speakers a little bit louder with the new firmware?

problem with the Mac was solved with a simple repairing. However, the DaVinci Code themes are no longer available from the
"Fun and Downloads" section
They were originally locked in the previous firmware, so I couldn't back them up
I have gained one thing: PSP-like menus, as seen in the
pre-rlease reviews. My original firmware didn't have this on any of the included themes.
I only just got my phone late last night, so I still have a lot of exploring to do. I'll post back with more details if/when I find any.

i've had that theme since R4EA031 using APAC i believe that would be orbit theme there is also a lighter version of that which is emerge
