No, that's just an engraving. I think the C button is meant to act as the On/Off button.

Very right indeed. When I did it earlier, I must have been doing something wrong.
Well, it did look like a QVGA anyway. The icons down the bottom look very tiny, and a 176x220 screen would never have rendered them well.
Looks like my original source was right.
Yes, i think so too...
Hmm check this out. Is this the off/on-button on Ai? Its very small, dont you think?
Well that is not the button. its only an idication that the on/off button is the C button. I believe holdin the C button for more than 3 or 4 secs will switch on/off the phone.
or maybe am wrong. but hell i wish that is not a button. that is sooo small!!

Good to hear. We're getting close to the target of 40 phones I reckon.
Do your friends want to share any extra info?

Well, he could confirm that they were planning something with the Handycam-brand and Bravia-brand in Europe.
Also the part of UIQ phones - and that some of them will be without touchscreens.
Then he was talking about some new walkman-player, but i dont think its going to be launched in Q1 or Q2 2007.. More likely to come at the end of 2007.
He could also say that Sofia is not the only 5 megapixel phone they are planning.. It should be something like the relationship between k790 and k800 - both 3,2 megapixels, but some small differences.

He actually said that they are really cool and very stylish - the ones posted doesn't give the proper feeling of quality, as the "real deal" does, he said. Besides, he mentioned the emotional-design phones, and said, that they have REALLY great designs - soft, round edges, mirror effects and such.. I thought it sounded like Z310 and Z610, but they are different.
Not really any hot news on the gaming phone, however, he said, that in the future, they will use more hardware for graphics (just like p990 and w900) and that they are thinking of making one. They didnt wanna make the same mistake nokia made with n-gage (you know, having to buy fysical games and such) so they have to think of a way to transfer games wireless to the users.

the emotional design is going to look good because they're based on..... and *not* designed by.....
(fill in the blanks)
that I'm confident
better looking than Nokia and Samsung's feminine lines out today
they should be as wow-ing as you first saw LG's Chocolate and SHINE
as cheesy as the team claimed, it's supposed to "ignite your senses"
______
news just came out today that they have a 2MP camera phone in works. 3" screen, digital TV, EVDO RevA; smaller than W44S, with a much improved hinge. the biggest thing is that the phone can record digital broadcast at VGA resolution. this might be a W5x series for AU KDDI's Spring 07 line up
so I cannot tell you much about the DMB devices for europe yet, it's still a bit early. need to spend time on the modules and software, the design can come out pretty fast, just pick one from the pool
