Updated my Orange 029 to 037 via SEUS. WOW what a complete let down. I had and still have the 'Operation Failed' problems I was having before. And still having the media browser speed problems, also had a couple of restarts now, didn't have them before!
I know the 037 was for mostly camera specific problems, but come on, they could have done more.
For everyone fussing over the 037 update, I'd be waiting much, much more to the 'proper' update around the 10 Dec, hoping that is worth the wait!!!

Updating the firmware via SEUS cannot fix Operation Failed bug at all. The only way is reflashing the phone firmware via SE Service Centre or
www.davinciteam.com .

Um I've an Orange K850i on version 29 and I can't upgrade mine over air or via SEUS. Have I missed a trick to getting it done? Is there a particular version of SEUS needed? Mine updated itself to 2.7.11.7.

Used my computer to update it, so SEUS.
The mediaplayer is a tad faster, but it's still slow.
I don't notice any other improvements.

Updated to 037 via SEUS on comp (orange uk). Flash still doesn't sync 100% of the time. Anyone else found this? Dunno if I should get a replacement or hold out till new update.

I have just updated my K850i through SEUS. Before update I was with unbranded generic firmware Adriatic but after update I have a Orange branded firmware. This service-SEUS is not work correctly. Be carefull when You use it.

SEUS doens't mess up phones like that.
I suppose your phone was already flashed with the Adriatic Filesystem but whoever did it, didn't change de customization version.
So when SEUS went to update it, it looked at the customization version and updated the phone accordingly.

New poster on the forumn but have been a regular reader since purchasing a K750i, thought it was about time I joined, so here's my first post.
Have just recieved my K850i, general pleased with it except the bugs other users are reporting.
One thing I find annoying is the fact that all pictures and video's appear in the media browser, I used to hide all the mucky video clips and pictures that are blue toothed at tea breaks at work in a folder buried deep within another folder on my K800 and these pics/vids didn't appear in the K800's version of Media browser. Does anyone know a way around this.
It would have been much better to only use nominated folders for media to appear in the media browser, it's also annoying as the media browser shows all the ring tones, sound clips and recordings, all I want it to show is my MP3 music collection. Do you think sony will correct this is the future, or am I gonna have to risk getting caught !! )
