btw can anyone confirm what kind of screen it uses? a flushed type like iphone screen? or just a simple old touch screen like P1i?

lolx, Apple Iphone surely is nice, but as a phone, they are no better than the old phone technology, perhaps, it is comparable to the very first existing mobile phone back then more than 15 years ago, perhaps even nokia 5110 can do a better job. Sony ericsson already had enough experience in making mobile phone, and they make one of the finest phone on the market. (I am not talking about feature btw, its purely the function as a phone).
But, i do believe, in terms of feature, Xperia will outdoes Iphone in many ways, WM 6 is indeed much more popular than Iphone, Better screen res, better camera, better connectivity (HSUPA/HSDPA vs EDGE? its not even comparable), lets see whats gonna happen Xperia vs Iphone? winner is already seen, no competition here, Xperia is one and only.

how come the iphone 3in screen is so much bigger than the 3in screen of X1? X1 screen seems ridiculous with its elongated length. Photo/Video will not be able to fit properly in full landscape (leaving black strips and thus smaller size image/video). WVGA resolution totally sucks when used as a multimedia device. Sorry to say that this is one aspect where Iphone eats the X1.
And rubbing salt into wound, I bet the X1 full landscape photo/video physical viewing size is also smaller than that on the N95-8G/N96 2.8 inch screen. What a pity.
