Well, here's my one taken with C902 at Auto (nothing edited, etc, etc)

Lucky me, the frog modelled for me, and it was a GREAT way to test out my new C902 (it was my second day using it)

(Actually not far from the truth. I would may said "digicam with a keypad" to make it more accurate.)

So I take it that you actually used one? I remember you PM'd me some time ago asking where you could buy the i-mobile 902. Was it really for "a friend"?

some off topic:

i would not say i-mobile is that good. (not digi cam good). i-mobile take excellent night pictures. even good ordinary pictures as well. but is not digi cam quality. (so for me its just a good cell phone camera)

(you find many daylight i-mobile 902 pictures on Flickr.com with weird contrast and brightness issues...so its not some super duper allround camera)

i saw lotza great pics being posted here.. if i were to get 1, izzit gonna be the same sharp pic quality or it depends on the firmware like all of you have mentioned? n if i got a faulty 1.. can i download it from the net n install the fimware into the phone?

P/S - sorry for the many questions that i asked

You can see the c902 as a good phonecam in bright conditions. When it gets darker indoors it would get alot worse. It lacks a good flash also so i see it as a daytime point and shooter mainly..

Indoors in dull light i have a hard time to get really sharp and nice pictures.

The firmware are easy to upgrade through your own computer.

Care to link some examples?

No, of course not. It's quite difficult to operate if the light is not too strong as it uses low ISO and slow shutter. But when you learn to handle it, it really beats the cr*p of all CMOS camphones...

And BTW, your comments about noise, the i902 doesn't apply ANY noise reduction. If you want to clean up your photos you can easily do this on your PC. CMOS camphones on the other hand have already done damage to the photos that is very difficult to repair afterwards.

Case in point: full size 800x600 crops:
