Suddenly today the file a2uploader.exe has been identified as a virus by my avg antivirus.....so any of you have this problem
Yes I believe it has a virus as I have been trying to make it work for 2 days now and it is corrupt.
I am hoping there is new version to download.
I get 2 application error messages and 1 says;
"a@uploader .exe - Application Error
The exception breakpoint
A breakpoint has been reached.
Click OK to terminate the program"

likely a battery problem. run the battery flat until the phone turns off by itself and then charge the battery for 3 hours. do that again and it should be fine.
Otherwise it is a problem the battery's electronic circuit. perhaps you have to replace it
tbx for the advice.... but i think the problem is not at the battery.. but more at the display battery icon.. the battery still last like before... i can use it for 2 days... it can be shown that my battery is 0%, but i can still use it for hours..

Hello all-I am amazed that you all got this working.
I have been trying to get a2uploader to recognise my W910 for 2 days now and can not get it to recognise my phone.
I have downloaded the necessary files (even the USB flash) and everytime I press "file system tool" on a2uploader the screen disappears !!!
This will not recognise my phone at all, this has been the single most frustrating program I have ever tried to get working.
Does anyone have any suggestions as how to get this program to recognise my phone ?????
I am just thinking that the file may be corrupt.
Anyone ??
Cheers, LL-
Uninstall all the drivers i.e original SEMC Flash Device and the drivers that came with A2Uploader.
You may need to do this:
1. Go to Control Panel > System
2. Click 'Advanced' tab and then 'Environment Variables'
In System Variables create a new value using these information:
Variable name: DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES
Variable value: 1
Click OK.
3. Now go to Device Manager, click Advanced and select Show Hidden Device.
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers and there you should see SEMC Flash Device or something like it. uninstall them and then try to run a2uploader again
hope this helps.

might be a problem with the battery's electronic circuit (not on the phone)

Cheers for that StevenC-
I just tried everything you stated but no luck !
There has to be a corruption in the .exe file or something because I have tried every variation of hooking the mobile up and trying to get it recognised, a thousand times.
I am past the point of a simple error on my part.
I am completely baffled and at this point just throw my hands up and say WTF !!!!!
Cheers again, LL-

I had the same problem; and it was the antivirus that deleted or changed something in the exe.
I think you should download and install it again but with the AV deactivated.

Cheers kenji... Can you tell me how to deactivate the AV ? I have been looking but no luck, the only thing I noticed was the firewall but apparently mine is turned off anyway.
