To me the 808 is worth every dollar because I use it to its maximum potential, both as a smartphone, and as a camera.
I just looked at my data usage this month and the 808 has transmitted over 3GB over 3G for me so far for the month.. lots of streaming, acting as a wifi hotspot, e-mail, etc. It really covers all the bases
Its the perfect tool for my lifestyle.

Not sure if this is just for Lumia 920 but might work on 808

I could use my N8 as my main phone any time without looking back. The only draw towards Android for me is the larger screens and better app support.
I still find Symbian on my N8 better than Android 4.1.2 my S3 runs. It can still do more.

For me the only average thing on an N8 was the poor browser

Saw that. Hopes I have, but I don't expect it soon now.
Web browsing was woeful by Android standards on Symbian. When I used my N8 as my main phone I thought it was very good. But as soon as I started using the combination of better screen tech, fluid Android and its browsers with more RAM, Symbian is horrible. Only Opera mobile makes web browsing acceptable now on Symbian.
I went to the park today with my girlfriend and the pictures whilst nice using my S3 are horrible viewed at 100% compared to my N8.
Please Nokia - pull your finger out and release a mass market available in the UK Lumia phone with the 808 camera module !!!! even if they put it in a mid range phone like the 620 it would still rock !!
Did I actually just say something cheesy like ROCK !!?

In the park with a girl they taste best ice cream!
Symbian in my 808 works very well!
If the Galaxy was a good digital camera I'd have bought it!

I don't rate Samsungs cameras to be honest. Sony and Nokia have usually produced better results. The Galaxy Camera from last year was a good illustration - its pictures were poor even for a dedicated compact camera imo.
The 808 beat it hands down.
The S3 has a good camera, the S4 appears to have a even better camera, but Nokia wins hands down on their best efforts (920 excluded).
