This is exactly what happens when Sony releases something that is actually great.
Let’s hope they now follow through with a proper marketing strategy and give this device the spotlight it deserves.

i know there's a lot of talk about the 20fps burst on the 1ii, but i know my XZP can do burst too, though i'm not sure if it's quite 20fps and definitely isn't autofocused for every single one..
i'm curious how well the focus adjusts with a moving subject or action shot.. the samples look promising, but i really wish i could see it in my own hands!
i have a month to decide if i want to preorder this badboy.... decisions decisions. hope there will be more in depth reviews out soon.

Many phones can do burst, but only Sony offer AF to refocus between frames.
This came with XZ1, then ported to XZP with android 8.
I do not know the frame rate.
Google tried to copy Predective capture calling it Top Shot.
Results = 1MP without AF.
* xz2 can do 19MP with AF
1 and 5 can do 10fps, adjusting AF/AE 30x per second.
Now 1 ii can do 20fps with 60 adjustments per second on wide and 10/30 on the other two.

XZ premium can do 10fps till 100 shots. Likely including autofocus inside the burst.

Sony Xperia Z (the first z) could do 1000 shots burst in 1 min - But no auto focus believe it was also slightly reduced resolution, either way friends and family were impressed back then. You could create 'timelapse' videos with them too (only day time shots as night bursts would blur with subtle movement
I'm digging the Xperia 1m2, will pick it up a few months after release.
Hyped currently for ps5 and 4k HDR 10bit 120fps new Sony TV's too haha.

Gsmarena comment section is full of enthusiastic geeks saying that at 70mm the mp count should only be 8.9 MP.
