where do I even find the messenger app (if any)?
It's nicely described in the manual but the only link in my phone leads to the vodafne lIve portal where there is no messnegr available anywhere

The link for me is down the list of bookmarks (not the navigator bookmark menu, but the main bookmark menu just above the settings icon in the main menu) ; with this link, i can register the service but can't use it, i have to get the java app from my operator website but this site has been constantly down or time outing for days i can't get it...

Messenger
Well i could connect to the website and try to get the mobile client, but it send me to the vlive portal where no download link is available, the website mentions it's the only place to get it....

PC 3G Visio
I finally could get the PC client, i received a new number and password for PC use by mail ; when i launch the client i'm asked to identify, then Netmeeting launches, but i can't call my v800, get an error, when trying to call the PC from the v800, i also get a bad number error...

Seems all this isn't ready and orking yet in France, maybe you'll have more luck in other countries

Not here for me, the app isn't included, must be downloaded, it's a java thing ; vlive only provides info about usage and pricing, not the app supposed functionnalities

edit : i've just checked again, and some new menus appeared in the messenger section of vlive, but still no app, only instructions on how to use the service with sms

Nope... that's my MMS album under 'email'

The only reference to 'messenger' outside the manual is in the 'favorites' folder (icon 9) ut like I said, it takes me to the Vlive! portal.

From there I find Vodafone messenger under MMS mail & Chat. This is the only one I can find...... You can add people by phone number or nickname and I presume these must be vodafone customers to begin with. And since I don't know anybody that uses it I haven't bothered adding people to it or trying it out.

// Allready asked in another post. but that wasnt a good topic for it.

Can you change the Case/housing or whats it called.

Cuss when the new FW is out, I will remove VF FW. Then u wont wanna run around with the VF logo on it when its not a VF phone...

Is this doable? like on z600, there u can remove the whole housing.

The only 2 obvious screws are on the back of the phone.

I have some reservations about removing the whole housing, I don;t really see an easy way of clearing the hinge (and therefore the camera) bit.

Then, Remove the VF logo on the front? and maybe try to get a SE logo ...

They should sell those small patches SE

@Vlamm you dont need to remove the whole hinge, its quite simple. The back cover is removed simply by sliding the battery cover off (quite simple) and the front is don by a little push and lift (a little pressure) as they have it stuck down like the P800 covers.
